Socialization A great deal of time goes into socializing our puppies. We have three children who play a great part in doing that. Our puppies are handled on a daily basis from day one. The kids often will sit in the whelping box and pet the puppies. When they are old enough, they begin their first journey by visiting the vet office. Once they have been given a clean bill of health and their 1st vaccine, they are introduced to the outdoors. Depending upon the season, they may be chasing the kids across the lawn, playing in the snow or going sledding with them. We temperament test all litters and the Labs are also exposed to a clipped wing. For those who show interest and exceptional drive, we recommend hunting/companion homes.
